The role of guide pins in electronic devices and their principles

The construction of leaf springs mainly includes two types: straight leaf springs and bent leaf springs. Straight leaf springs and bent leaf springs differ in shape and use, with straight leaf springs typically used in applications requiring greater deformation and load, while bent leaf springs are used in applications requiring less deformation and load.

Specific shapes of straight and curved leaf springs include rectangular, trapezoidal, triangular and stage shapes. These shapes allow reed springs to be adapted to different applications, such as straight cantilevered leaf springs used in electrical contact devices, and various shapes of reeds used in instruments, meters and automated mechanisms.

Characteristics of reed springs include their stiffness stability over a small range of deformations and the ability to obtain non-linear characteristics by varying the working length. In addition, reed springs are usually made of elastic metal sheets that have the effect of transforming force or displacement, and are widely used in applications where a sensitive response is required.
